Yellow Tulips

Why it's worth every penny: This is the first oil painting I ever painted with oil paint. I don't want to sell it, but here we are. Call me confidant or just egocentric, but I just know this is going to go on the art market for millions one day. Yes, maybe only after cutting off an ear, getting run over by a bus, or long after my inevitable death(involuntary or not), which will either be quite extraordinary or in a very boring manner, there is no in between with me.

Money that neither I or any of my linage will ever benefit from but will see it bounced around from art gallery to art gallery to art collector to art collector. Skyrocketing its value(over valuing its value some might say), while it likely just sits in some cold warehouse, meaning nothing to no one.

I would much rather it sit on my wall, so I may continue to admire it's beauty as much as cringe at it's poor technique. Truly no one deserves this masterpiece, but circumstances have forced me to sell this priceless piece of art history.

Plus it took me 16+ hours to make and the art classes I paid to teach me and all the start up costs, and materials, it's a whole thing.
